AMA files in a sequence needing to be relinked to transcoded footage

Hi,

I've been recently pulled on to a part-time gig as an AE for a TV show in development, basically overseeing the workflow of getting QTs into a project for an offline edit and prepping for online.

I spoke to the guys doing the online edit (my full-time employers) and they want everything that this guy has AMA linked already in at DNx220, so that's what he's going to edit in (mixed with tape-based offline media that was brought in at 10:1, and we're just going to keep his file based stuff high-rez and uprez the offline stuff when the edit is done).

Unfortunately, I wasn't brought on from the very beginning, and the man in charge has begun editing with AMA linked files already. Is there an easy/seamless way of re-linking the AMA stuff used in the sequence to the newly transcoded DNx220 footage?

Thanks for your help and input.

-Ian

Try selecting the sequence and choosing Relink, then in the bottom of the Relink window choose to relink to a specific resolution and pick DNxHD220, or whatever the transcoded footage is.
