My company are currently having an issue wherein when attempting to conform XDCAM HD full resolution files from decomposed clips from a sequence, batch import for will not work. It appears that when removing the XDCAM disk from either a U1 or U2 XDCAM reader, Avid will unmount the drive and will not register the new disk. Does anyone know a reason why Avid would be doing this and whether there is a solution. Currently our workaround is to import one disk at a time as avid outside of the batch import process, will auto-mount the XDCAM drive. This means that the conform process is much slower than it should be.
