AVID DVCProHD P2 Relink - timecode shift during relink

Well title say it...

I'm on Media Composer 6.
Timeline have been edited by someone else, but I have the same footage from the same card.
When I check the timecode in of a clip - when offline - it seem okay but once reimported the medias to relink, it change the timecode to something completely different.

I've seen this on MC 5.5 with XDCAM via AMA. We linked to clips via AMA and then transcoded them, but when we were relinking clips to be upraised, I was noticing that they were always exactly 12 frames off.

Sometimes the clips were 12 frames ahead, sometimes 12 frames behind and I could never track the pattern by which it happened because it didn't happen all the time. The only consistency was 12 frames.

Because 12 frames wasn't too drastic, we made sure our AE was very meticulous in shot checking after the episode was upressed. As per usual, we exported a video a mix down and adjusted clips as necessary.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your input!

My problem is a bit more "timecode drastic".
In fact, reimporting the medias actually work ok. The edited content is in the good place (all the interview are good and did not "slip" the content.)

It is the source media TC that change complety the timecode for another one.
For example : my media 000PRX.mxf on the source folder is at timecode starting by 13:xx:xx:xx
I reimport for the relink, it change the timecode for another like 02:xx:xx:xx
But, the content inside the clip (question-answers-etc...) are ok...

Then, I can't export aaf edl and so on...
