We have a client using Avid Studio v1.1 and is having a problem importing Quicktime DV .mov files into his Avid Studio NLE on a Windows PC (Windows 7 Professional). He is able to see the video but cannot hear the audio. The Quicktime files play correctly in the Quicktime Player application on the PC. The files were exported using FCP 7 as self-contained Quicktime movies onto a Windows NTFS formatted hard drive. Is there a setting in Avid Studio that needs to be enabled for the audio to work properly?
On a separate note, the client was able to convert the .mov files to .avi using a conversion program and was able to hear both audio and video? Does Avid Studio not support the .mov format?
