Hi,

Do you have any suggestions / recommendation of any audio meter that is cheap and good?
Im looking for somethink simple to look at for final delivery. I need it to be a bit spesific. As if the customer wants the audio to be at exactly -6.4 or something similar.

PPMulator by zplane is good, accurate AND cheap but i dont think you can integrate it within the host computer (although Ive heard people have success interfacing it using "virtual cable" but i couldnt make it work.
I keep my meters outboard, but its obviously more costly.
Zplane have a good support and forum base so you should contact them.

I use the z-plane virtual ppms. They are very good although officially only live on the mbp audio input.

However using the mac application soundflower I have been able to route fcp audio op int it.

I have not tried with avid but assume it will work?

I run Ppmulator as VST plugin in Avid (win32)
Works, but buggy. But i only need it for LUFS on commercials, so it's not a big deal for me.
