Since I think Avid Marketplace is complete BS, here's a breakdown of the plugins that are ready to go with Media Composer 6:

*Digital Film Tools (everything.) (ReFine and PhotoCopy are WAY COOL!)

*GenArts (Sapphire.) No comment from the company on future upgrades.

*Boris (BCC And Avid FX 6) BCC is a required paid upgrade, and Avid FX 6 is a repackaged version of RED, which includes FX and Graffiti. No comment on Final Effects Complete and BLUE.

*NewBlueFX (Tiler Pro.) Company says that all the rest will be released in January with GPU acceleration.

*Tiffen Dfx 3.0.

*ReVision EFX (Twixtor 5.) Uncertain when the rest will be updated.

Red Giant has told me that they're "close" for their product line on Avid.

[Daniel Warvi] "Since I think Avid Marketplace is complete BS"

Why do you say that? For plug-ins it's merely a web portal; but it works as advertised if you are looking for stock footage via the Thought Equity connection. What were you expecting?

Something resembling interactivity.....or maybe something like Toolfarm's plugin finder.

Putting aside it doesn't work when you're on an Interplay/ISIS system behind a hard firewall (like most post houses) there's no way to search what you don't know.

I doubt it was intented for larger post houses. Where typically engineering is keeping tabs on everything. I think it was more designed for smaller 1 man show kind of places
