From the "always wanted to know" files.

Anyway you can give custom names to duplicated keyboard settings?
ie: call 1 set of keyboard settings "normal", 1 set multicam, 1 set effects...etc.

I currently rotate through 2 or 3 depending on what functions i use most, but they are all just called Keyboard.

Yes you can... and as an added bonus, if you name them exactly the same as workspaces, when you change workspaces, the keyboard layouts will follow. The same is true of timelines. You will have to enable this function in the workspace settings I believe. Check the helpfiles on workspaces.

Go to "Settings" hit K. Right-click and "Duplicate" Rename it what every you like in the empty space to the right of the word "keyboard". I have a Multicam, basic and color correction setting. These can be linked to various Toolsets - like Scott said.

Hope that helps.

You can go a step further and link these to workspaces or Toolsets - meaning you change the workspace or toolset and it'll automatically change the keyboard too.

My main keyboard setting is named "Casio" in honor of the first keyboard I ever owned.
