 | version of Media 100 i is too old

Hi all,
So having saved an edit done on 8.2.3, then opened it in 11.5 for whatever reason, I get the message "version of Media 100 i is too old" back in version 8.2.3. Is there any recovery from this if I want to edit it in version 8.2.3? If I continue the edit in version 11.5, what of the original media? Will it become unavailable to version 8.2.3? The systems are etherneted together.
Thanks for any advise...

You should look into the Backup folder on your Media 100 i system. Maybe you have an older copy there. The media files will be unchanged, only the programs/bins/projects can be transferred only one way from Media 100 i to V11/V12.

Are you trying to take a document from 11.5 back to 8.2.3? Media should go back, documents shouldn't.
