I'm working on a project that involves augmented reality. Basically I need to point my phone to an object (trigger) and another object needs to appear. It's the same principle that Aurasma uses (https://www.aurasma.com/). But I'm having some doubts regarding the trigger. The object I'm going to use as trigger has homogeneous colors, and I don't know if it's necessary to have an object with a more contrasted texture and colors in order for the computer to recognize it. For example, I have this image of an action figure of Flash, do you think it could work as a trigger? Or do I need to paint it maybe with color stripes that help with contrast?
