bluray recorder

We recently upgraded the imag in our theater to HD. We also record our shows HDSDI out of panasonic switch into KiPro for post production editing. I also record a downconvert of our line cut to a DVD burner for archival purposes.

I would like to record our shows direct to bluray for archiving but have had no luck finding a pro bluray burner with HDSDI inputs. In fact all bluray burners that I have found only have SD inputs.

Anybody out there know of a bluray burner with HDSDI inputs or HDMI inputs?

My Kingdom for one!

I think many of us have been begging for one for years. The Pioneer LX-1 was fantastic! Many of us hoped that Pioneer would come out with one for BluRay....nothing thus far.

For HD, the only way I've found is kluging devices together. B&H, actually, is selling a bundle which does exactly what we've been piecing out for a while:

Other solutions are a bit more manual, unfortunately.

Perhaps there are solutions coming out at NAB this year....?

I've been asking for the same thing for a while now. I was hoping that JVC would get it together and upgrade the 1200 & 1500 so you're not spending over $5500k for that kit. I'm also betting we'll see SOMETHING at NAB that fits the bill.
