I'm waiting for them to make an iKona for the iPhone, then I'll buy both!

[Bob Auiler] "The dual screen iPhone is what I'm waiting for."

That would be a biPhone! ;)

Re: iPhone app - yawn

I just downloaded this app to my iPhone - yawn. However, I just used AJA System Test for Xena (PC) to diagnose an AVID system's problems (disk drives), and I was so thrilled that this was a free download (to let me identify where the problem was), that I want to know who to send the money to, for this "free" application, that shoudn't even be free, it's so good and useful.

AJA continues to amaze me. What's next for 2010 ?

Sorry that you found a data calculator app boring Bob, I thought it was scintillating, only bested by Wattulator & MorseKey.

the remote control of the KiPro from the iPhone is better than all of these. (and they actually charge .99 cents for Wattulator !).

iPhone app - XDCamEx data rates seem off?
on Dec 14, 2009 at 8:30:44 am

Just downloaded the app.

XDCamEx 1080p24 shows as 87 Gb/hr.

That seems weird. If XDcamEx here refers to shooting with the EX-1 or EX-3 to SxS cards, then it is 35 Mbps or 25 Mbps. If so, it should be about 15 Gb/Hr and 13 Gb/hr respectively.

I know, it's like a benevolent gift to the post production community! By comparison, the Decklink speed test won't load if it can't find any Decklink hardware installed. Makes me want to buy a Kona.
