Below are my Mac specs for aid in assisting me with this Issue. I have recently installed the KONA LHe, to use with FCP. I am not getting audio input through the Analog Inputs on the breakout cable for the KONA. I have opened the KONA LHe Control panel and the Audio Input is set up Analog map ch. 1-2. Also in system preferences on the Mac I have selected the AJA KONA for sound input but still no sound input is showing up. My audio signal is a line level signal that comes from a audio mixer.

open the AJA Control Panel.
plug your VTR or mixer into the Kona LHe inputs
plug the Kona LHe outputs into your mixer or your powered speakers directly.
put a tape in your VTR with audio on it.
on the control panel, choose the appropriate input selection for video input and audio (analog) input.
I assume we are using NTSC video, so go into the format tab, and select NTSC 525, and not an HD format.
go to the CONTROL tab in the AJA control panel. It's on TEST PATTERN right now. Select INPUT PASSTHROUGH.
