Probably cause not many of us are running Snow Leopard on our primary editing systems yet.....

But actually the news release is right below this one, but it turned into the question about 2 streams of video on the Kona.

The interesting thing is the AJA 7 is also compatible with FCP6 and Leopard, so it is one wide release, although don't see that it added anything to FCP6 or Leopard.

But I'm pretty pissed about the icon change, it is just two switches, how will I remember that they are for my Kona control panel? I think I'm going to write AJA about it, Man, all this time and that is what they come up with! :-)

Does the fact that the drivers are 64-bit affect us in any way other than future compliance when running a native 64-bit OSX 10.6 with the 64-bit kernel active? Or can the 32-bit kernel run 64-bit drivers? Or do we get both 32- and 64-bit drivers here?

Also - the link Gary put up wasn't correct I don't think (I got a file-not-found page).

My local MacWizards are informing me that my current stability and display problems are due to the presence of a Kona 3 card, which when removed cures all of the problems that I've been seeing. FCP freezups, crashes, extremely slow renders... etc.

It seemed to be working fine up until Snow Leopard and K3 Version 7.... hmmmm....

[Joseph Owens] "It seemed to be working fine up until Snow Leopard and K3 Version 7"

Mind filling us in? with the usual stuff?

I do not trust anyone that calls themselves a "MacWizard" mainly because they don't have specific knowledge of hardware outside of that made by apple.

Is there any chance you upgraded the firmware on the K3 when you updated the driver?
