I have given thanks here before to the tech support at AJA. But after my call with Steve at AJA today I have to post again. I had one issue that was related to AJA software, which Steve got me through in minutes. And then I asked him a related question about how my system is set up, which led to another question. And in the space of a few minutes Steve had fixed two things which were certainly not AJA's fault; but he just stayed with me and got me past the problems I had even though they turned out to be my own configuration errors.

So kudos again to Steve and AJA. Tech support like that seems rare these days. And it is very much appreciated by this customer. (And is a big reason why I own so much of their gear!)

I concur. Steve and Rudy, et-al at AJA have always gone the extra mile for me. Truly superior tech support and a great knowledge base.

One can never say thank you enough.

Last week I was having an issue with my Kona card. Jim in support walked me through a few ideas and after that didn't work sent me a new card the next day. Problem solved. Best...Support....Ever.

I disagree with all of you. AJA is not that great. My toilet got stuffed up, and I called AJA support, and they refused to come over to unclog my toilet - AND they did not even suggest what to do about the clog. You call that support ?

Besides, AJA is planning on following AVID's support model, and all of you will soon be paying $4000 a year PER SYSTEM to just get to speak to an AJA tech about your problems. That will teach you !
(some of you think that I am making a joke about the price of AVID support - don't you ? ).

Just a few weeks ago we were a having problem with our K3. Aja shipped us a replacement from California to Scotland in 4 days flat.

Glad AJA sorted you out, but in case you get in the same situation in the future the UK AJA distributor has swap out stock and would ship you an advanced replacement overnight.
