never buy a Lacie drive.
I see that by purchasing products like Lacie and Iomega, you probably go to the local office supply store to purchase these products. DO NOT DO THIS. Buy professional products from professional dealers. Even disount houses that are in OUR PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS.
It is hard for me to recommend a drive, if you have not told us what computer you have. My first recommendation is to purchase an external SATA drive, but I don't know your computer, so I can't tell you what to purchase. Companies like Cal Digit and G-Tech are among many good companies to purchase single external SATA drives from.
I am using Mac OS X 10.4.5. (only have about 11Gb left on it)
So I do need to keep my projects in the hard drive and work from there. I am having difficulty rendering or sometimes the play back. I thought it might be because of the USB connection.
(This hard was a Lacie and I had to change the case beacuse the bridge failed in only 13month of work)
