color grading purposeful white points quick tip

If you'd like to give your film an old D55 white point from the older theater's bulb technology, you can apply levels-set to color transfer mode and leave red unchanged, change green's white output to 253 and blue's white output to 236. This was the look for a new hope and why we remember older films differently as they later got remastered to D65.

if you'd like to get more whitepoints, I found this mathlab site for XYZ values
https://www.mathworks.com/help/images/ref/whitepoint.html

then you can calculate them from XYZ into RGB pixel values with this online calculator
https://nixsensor.com/free-color-converter/

it really does bring back that film esthetic.
