I've been shooting a doco for the past few weeks with a Sony FS7.
Everything was going great until the last two days when my camera was booked up and I had to get another one from a gear company. Long story short (and it's my fault) I shot the new footage with a baked in REC709 lut. It's annoying because the viewfinder and client monitor was showing s-log 3 so everything looked great.
Regardless I still messed up by not going through the settings properly. I'll beat myself up for that one for the next 10 years.
I cannot undo the permanent color that's been put on (or so I know), but does anyone know of a way to potentially reverse this baked in lut with another lut to give it a sense of s-log 3? And will a colorist be able to re-color that?
