Anyone else fighting Adobe with this?

I own CS6 Master Collection, but the Adobe Application Manager confusedly thinks I am a cloud customer and is giving me a countdown to when I can't open my apps anymore.

Anyone else with this issue?

I did try the cloud for year then decided to upgrade my 5.5 Master Collection and to seek ride into the sunset with CS6. But either Adobe's user database...or some trace cloud files on my system are making AAM hunt me like a wanted animal.

I've repeatedly contacted Adobe forums and received no resolution. I now 15 have days until I'm locked out of using a product I OWN.

Life is full of funny particles.

Have you posted on the Adobe CC Facebook page? A lot of people seem to get results there after repeatedly striking out with traditional Adobe support:

Thanks Chris. I just posted there. We'll see what assistance I can get.

When I had this problem before the CC launch, it simply asked for the CS6 SN. I just re-entered the number and it was fine. It did this a couple of times and then quit. That specific problem was acknowledged by Adobe, but there wasn't a fix at the time. It didn't re-occur after the CC launch. Have you done all the CS6 updates over the past few months?

[Chris Pettit] "A lot of people seem to get results there after repeatedly striking out with traditional Adobe support:"

Hi Chris,
Actually, it is better to open a support case first. We can't help people on Facebook very easily unless they have a case number first. Users having trouble with their products should start here:

Craig,
The forums on Adobe.com are user-to-user based. It is not guaranteed you will be helped by Adobe on the forums. Adobe employees, like myself, are there to assist, but the troubleshooting work is generally done by fellow users. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for the heads up Kevin. I didn't realize that was important first, I've just noticed that there seems to be efforts over there to help after the normal tech support path has failed.

As part of Adobe Support, we do monitor social media channels and meet our customers that have issues wherever they may be.

However, I feel we can provide better support through our own channels and on the forums. When you are troubleshooting an issue, being limited to the amount of characters you can type is very limiting, as you might imagine. Though the forums are user to user based, I constantly monitor them. It's easier for me to point staff members to forum threads. It's harder to point people to tweets or FB postings. It's also hard to follow up with users that do not have a case we can track.

Thanks,
Kevin

hey there - where's the production premium tier at ;) or the optout? :)

you're giving crazy quarter price apps, a biro, a handkerchief and storage deals to photographers - are they the only special children you're scared of? :)

That said said richard harrington did say on FB that that was absolutely the only deal you felt you had to cut.
...that no one should look for anything else.

So I guess you guys are going to ride it out from here and see if the horse can make it all the way to four million?

popcorn time! lets see how you guys get on!
