3D? Well, in my mind two images conspiring to fool the viewer into something isn't 3D in the first place.
I believe the process is known as "holography".

photoshop extended can load 3D meshes, and if they have propper UV maps you can paint on them. it has nothing to do with stereography. But unfortunately it is super slow and not usable. as far as I can remember you can not even paint into the bump chanel.
Tried it twice and was absolutely underwelmed.
I am no friend of bodypaint at all (c4d is super)
but it is better by far than the 3d skills of ps

On top of the implications relative to lack of clarity regarding plans and features, I'm amazed by the narrative in general as well. Select samples:

"This software perfectly meets your requirement, so let’s go ahead and get this ordered for you today."

"Cloud is so gigantic and robust which has all the applications that can help a professional or even an amateur photographer. It definitely changes the way you work. No more you have to depend on pen drives, or portable storage and the difficulty to hold your thought to put it in colors."

"I talk to a lot of people in your line of work and most of them are upgrading to the current version for the productivity gains. Plus, by keeping your software current, you benefit from special upgrade pricing. If you go too long without upgrading, you’ll lose the special upgrade price and will have to pay full price again to get the latest version. Wouldn't you agree upgrading is worth it?"

I know this is just one sales person, and I assume there is a commission involved. But this sounds like a cheap, shoddy used car salesman, not someone to help answer pre-sales questions regarding the premier creative software in the world.

It sure seems like Adobe is in real danger of at least appearing (or maybe even becoming?) remarkably desperate.

I had the same reaction. Patronizing manipulative claptrap from the salesperson.

I assume it's scripted . . . always be closing . . . the caddie or the steak knives.

[Peter Wiley] "I assume it's scripted "

Did you think Alec Baldwin improvised that? It's from David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross.

fyi, the info given by the customer service rep is wrong. The version of Photoshop included in the Photography program is the full Photoshop CC and includes future updates and the 3D functionality.

Typical service/support mis-information or just plain ignorance of the subject.
