After some hours catching up on this CC debate here is our morose point of view;
The mac video revolution was hedonism - instead of a video engineer we became artists and then; in walked Cosa...
Our dogma: when business or body fail, as meek and mighty all must, the love of expression via AE will still be strong, and so, the current CC subscription plan offers a choice:
1. Divvying up retirement funds with Adobe until death do us part.
2. Premature divorce from a beloved partner and wistful longing thereafter.
Trapped we 'play away from home' greedily sampling expensive, glamorous creatures we could not really support (Flame), hags that would not have been noticed even last Winter (Avid) even a hasty fumble with the strange lady next door who has been lurking hopefully for years (Blender).
...but the dalliances become shorter and shallower, a claustrophobic feeling is quashed as the phone rings bringing manna, pull back the covers and command tab into the embrace of CS once again.
