So my system drive is failing, no problem I thought I'll simply sign out of CC on that drive, which deactivates all the Adobe apps (according to the FAQs) Installed a new drive, then the Creative Cloud app, signed in and lo and behold I can only install trial versions of the Apps. I thought this process was meant to be easy!!!

OK, it finally saw my subscription, not as quick as I would like but it still got there in the end.

I switch off my subscription on a regular basis between my home machine and the office. It's pretty simple and quite honestly a godsend to get all the applications at home.

Just wanted to point out that the old perpetual license would already allow the same without any switching. :)

Yes and no. It wouldn't between platforms, for instance. Moving between PCs and Macs has been a nice feature of Avid for some time. I'm happy Adobe is now there as well.
