Any CC users out there who have had a chance to use the new Premiere or After Effects. I'd love to hear you thoughts, even if they are preliminary.

Premiere Pro CC and Audition CC are working very smoothly on my Mac. After cutting two theatrical trailers with no crashes it feels like a bargain at the going rent of $1 buck a day. Initializing Premiere with plug-ins and drivers was painless. It is very stable. Thanks for asking.

Adding a Cinema 4D layer in Ae is pretty cool!

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about the inclusion of Cinema 4D lite, since I've never gotten around to paying the $1-3.5k for the full version. I tried to download CC, but after repeated updating and logging in it is apparent that I have more than one Adobe account in play because the App Manager tells me I can only "try" the new CC stuff; and I've been subscribed to CC for almost a year!

Cinema 4D is pretty awesome. I highly encourage new users to check out the node based expressions, and learn about the layer manager early... these two things can make your life in 3D much easier. :-)

This is the only feature I miss in the CashCow BS I will never subscribe.
As I´m user of Cinema from it´s market start.
But I read in many threats now, that it´s terrible slow and also buggy. So I´m lucky with my old PlugIn workflow to my AE CS6.
Works a little bit complicate, but works that I can use.
I think it will take years till they have optimized the conversation between the two Apps.
And as Adobe will now be concentrating more on cloud-gimmicks, wonder if it will ever work satisfying.
Many of jobs like that can also be done with Blender. Became stronger and stronger till the last years.
Nearby a real professional app.

Exactly my thoughts. I'm really heart-broken about being sold on the new connection between the 2 apps only to find out a month later that I would have to subscribe forever to get it.

But I have completed 2 projects since May that involved AEC files, and I'm reminded that it still works pretty darn good the old way too. Good enough for me until Adobe comes to thier senses regarding perpetuity issues.
