No clearance to travel in the cloud apparently. Nice start to adventures in CC!

[Chris Harlan] "Yes, I'm having this bunch of fun, as well."

Bummer, I was hoping for your capsule review tomorrow!

That probably won't happen because I'm working crazy hours right now. But, my capsule review so far is "this sucks." I'm apparently far from the only one having this particular problem.

Hi Guys,
You can also clear your cookies and/or try a new browser. That's what works for many.
Instructions are here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5418671#5418671

Thanks,

My creative cloud seems to be the dark angry type...

Thanks for the link to the new download manager. I'll give that a try... ...this is pretty shambolic.

Hey Liam, I've got it going now. Take a quick read of what I posted to Kevin's above advice. Follow the link there, clear your cache, and then follow a link there to download the March Application Manager which will let you install the new application manager. At least, that worked for me.

Thanks Chris, got it going now. I used an app called Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, then reinstalled Application manager, all working swimmingly now!

Hey Kevin!

Thanks. The link you sent did it, but the added step was following another link over there, and downloading the earlier Application Manager. Clearing the cache was not enough. Below is a quick summery I posted in another thread:

I'm already downloading. You're advice is good except for one thing. I could not reload the Application Manager. I DID clear my cache, and then what I had to do was go back and install the Application manager from March, which once reinstalled, allowed me to install the newest Application Manager successfully. Otherwise, it kept trying to unpack the Application Manager, and then failed with a notice that had a link that, if followed, took me back to the same Application manager that I kept failing to upload. Apparently you need to go back to the March installer to break the cycle.

Hey Chris, This is not a new phenomenon with the CC installer. There have been instances in my own use with the adobe AAM where I had to do the same thing to get updates of CS6. For some reason the old AAM would lose control over the apps. Glad you now have it working and hopefully the new installer behaves better.
