Indeed adobes decision does not seem well thought out nor planned. This improvisation could cost adobe dearly.

I guess that depends on if enough people forgo the subscription option that it shows that this is not the right direction to go. On the flip side, if the bottom line isn't adversely affected, then this is the future reality.
