Rant on....

The new Lightroom import module is a major step BACKWARDS for Adobe. It uses a completely different UI style, which has a very "consumer" or "iOS" style in appearance. So it looks like something cobbled into Lightroom without any direct connection to the rest of the app. But worse, it's less intuitive than what it replaced and it is slow as molasses. Who thought this was a good idea at Adobe? It's awful. I HOPE that this is not a harbinger of new things in other Adobe apps!

Also rant on….

Same with the new "intuitive" UI Style of Acrobat.
Less useable, more awful.
If I would use CC - I think, that´s one of the "fast delivered up/downdates" I wouldn´t like.

Sadly, have another 8 months of Photoshop subscription left. After hearing this news, so long Adobe, going to look at other alternatives once subscription has ran out.

Right now my plans are to edit in FCP X, any motion graphics work will be done in Motion, grading in Resolve followed by finishing in Fusion.
Some finishing will be done in Resolve as well, mainly transitions and stuff like that.

To me, Fusion just feels as a much better tool for finishing due to the node based approach. I don't feel slowed down by layers. One thing is the ability to try out six different versions of settings and being able to compare them with a simple click of the mouse. Fusion just gets out of the way just like FCP X does with its timeline, well, for the most part.

Yes, a bit of a rant. The flip side, just think I found me a more solid workflow. Back to playing with my brain, again. LOL

This sounds promising. At least Adobe is listening on this issue.
