Version feature?
on Jun 24, 2015 at 9:24:00 pm

Anyone else notice that if you open a CC 2014 AE project in CC 2015 it does NOT require an upgrade to that version. And if you save a CC 2015 project you can open it up no probs in CC 2014.

WE have a lot of slowness in CC 2015 and odd playback issues with Premier so we are sticking with CC 2014 for now...thanks for the tip on checking the box to save the 2014 version!

That is always the case with After Effects: The project file format changes only when we change the major version number (the part before the dot). So, After Effects CC 2015 (13.5) and After Effects CC 2014 (13.2) have compatible project files.

We only change the project file format when we add a feature that requires us to do so.
