Lumaforge ?

HELLO ? What the hell is wrong with you people. LumaForge makes one of the greatest shared storage systems in history ! Particularly for use with FCP X, and of course Premiere and other editing and graphics software.
Why are there not more questions about LumaForge shares storage systems like Jellyfish and ShareStation ?

Perhaps everyone else is using Promax and Studio Network Solutions, and Facilis Terrablock ? Or perhaps NO ONE is doing new shared storage systems, and just using a thunderbolt dock and copying their data ?

They DO look very nice. For what I do, with a total of two-and-a-half editor seats, it would be both overkill and a bit too expensive, though the Jellyfish seems in the reasonable range for a smaller house. If I was stepping up from the QNAP to accommodate more users, I would consider it.

I think for smaller groups they seem more expensive.
For instance, from a review at Larry Jordan's site, a 24 TB Jellyfish with 4 GigE ports runs about $ 8,000.

At the Lumaforge site, Jellyfish Mobile is listed as 'starts at $ 8,995'.

For $ 9000 one could get a 100 TB (usable) NAS, a 10 GigE switch, and 10 GigE adapters for 8 machines. and have a super fast edit cum compositing team.
