I have pretty much all of the Blackmagic cameras except for the URSA mini (someday...) and am running into a lowlight problem on a few shoots recently. Now if I know going in that it's an event I'll just rent a Sony A7S but sometimes it happens on docs that I'm not allowed to light (like a lowlight catholic church service) What is a low light camera that people have used that can intercut well with the Blackmagic cameras? I know it won't be like my precious RAW but I just need to get close for the real low stuff that I can't grade up to match. I have a Canon Mark III which I could use just for lowlight (and probably should) just for the 6400ISO shots which would probably have much more detail than my 800ASA footage in low light now.
Thoughts? OR if anybody has really figured out a great way to boost exposure settings way up in POST that would be helpful. Or even just a great way to get the Canon 5D close to BMPC4k color settings that would help.
