Adding looks in Speedgrade
on Jan 22, 2013 at 4:01:46 pm

I've just moved my premiere pro project into speed grade. I then did a primary colour correction. I've then try to add a look to the film 'cinematic 1' to be precise and it removes my primary correction. It even takes the input saturtation down to 0.81. What is happening here, am i missing something?

Add your look to an additional grading layer above the footage.

"Looks" are, within Speedgrade, effects presets so they will overwrite your existing settings. Adding the look to a grading layer keeps it separated from your individual clip adjustments.
