Handling start timecode in MOV, MP4 and other formats consistently

In MOV, we have the ability to use the timecode track when a long video has to be split into multiple sub clips. MediaInfo reports it as

Time code of first frame : 20:28:52:16

When converted to MP4 via Media Encoder, it adds a tag called @TIM as follows.

┬ęTIM : 20:28:52:16

Having these 2 variations is causing some confusion and challenges in the downstream player and other systems.

Do you have guidance on how to handle the start timecode consistently when transcoding with FFMpeg or during playback.
