Okay, so I have the software Nero on my comp for ripping/burning. It works with my DVD Shrink 3.2. I've never had a problem in the past with either. But, yesterday I tried ripping Cinderella Man.
I inserted the DVD, & clicked on "Open Disc" in DVD Shrink. After it got done decrypting it I clicked on "Back Up". It then put the files *somewhere* on my comp, without doing what it usually does which is having the disk tray open & me inserting a blank CD. Now, I can't find those files! It takes up quite a bit of space on my comp & I want to delete it! I've tried the Window's "Search" feature as well as looking in just about every folder.....but it's no where to be found. Any help?
1st - use windows search and look for files over 50,000 kb (that's 50 MB)
2nd - try ripping again, only this time make a note of the directory path that the file is put into
3rd - some programs rip to a temp file, then delete the file when finished copting to CD or DVD. Nero may have done this.
