Best Video Editing Software
on Feb 23, 2006 at 7:01:28 am

I'm relatively new to editing, can anyone point me to the best editing software for beginners to novice users. Price is not really an object I am more concerned with features and ease of use.

My System:

athlon 64 3500+
1GB DDR400
2 X 200GB HDD
256MB 6800GT Video Card

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try the latest Pinnacle Studio program. It is very user friendly and has quite a load of features for the price. Get your feet wet with editing using that program and then once you have the basics down and need to grow out of that skin, look for something else on the market at the time that might fit what you're looking for.

Uleads VideoStudio 10 is also very good. This new version sports multiple overlay tracks, a Multi-Trim tool (easy commercial cutting), Dolby Digital 5.1 surround audio and PSP/iPod/phone/PDA MPEG-4, WMV HD/Smartphone/PPC exports for once you get your feet wet Wink

[url=http://www.presentavid.com/PresentaVid]presentavid is great for beginners. it's very easy to use. every newbie can work with it i think.
for professionals the best software is adobe premier - it's complicated and very featured!
