Matrox RTX10 or 100?
on Dec 15, 2004 at 4:07:25 am

OK, so everybody has convinced me to up the budget and go the Matrox/Adobe route. 99% of what I'm going to do is take old analog home movies and clean them up, add a couple of cool effects and burn DVDs. Will I be satisfied saving $300 and getting the RTX10 over the RTX100? I've read all the comparisons here and on Matrox's site, but could use some "real people" advice. All comments welcome.
Thanks, Alan

Spend the extra $300. You'll get real time MOPEg2 encoding which will save you tons of time. The RTX100 also includes other utilities that go beyond the rtx10.
