DVD authoring - useing video TS files - help please??
on Dec 11, 2005 at 3:05:02 pm

Hi all

I have used my TV DVD recorder to put three short videos onto a DVD disc, which is fine and plays OK in my DVD player and on my PC.

I want to use the three short items on the DVD disc to make a DVD disc with a proper menu page etc... but when I use DVD authoring software, and try to import the material from the DVD disc...it won't recognise it... the authoring software looks for .avi files etc but not Video TS files... help!!!
Phil

You can try renaming them from vob files to mpg files, and your dvd authoring software may be able to handle them.

If all else fails, try Magic Video Batch Converter. That works. (free download, time limited trial)
