Regular Monitor or NTSC Preview Monitor?

When previewing your video project's output prior to burning to DVD, is a preview monitor better than a standard monitor? I've been surfing the web, and the general consensus seems to be that an NTSC preview monitor gives a more accurate representation of your finished project.

I always like using a standard NTSC TV or monitor when I edit. it not only makes sure I see the colors correctly, it lets me make sure all my graphics content is positioned correctly and east to read.

For DVDs this is really important. I've seen menus that have buttons too far off to the side or titles that can't be read by anyone over 40.
