I'm a pre-teen who's building a computer with my dad. We are wondering: For the boot drive, is it better to use a SATA or IDE drive? I heard that you may need to install a driver if you use SATA, but I want to see what you think.
This will give you better speed all around, and they don't
cost that much more. Whatever you have to with special
drivers to make SATA work, it is worth the effort.
Also, don't forget: Have a seperate data disk drive where
all you video data is stored, or WindowsXP activities will
harmfully affect the performance of your video editing
