bullet proof video burning

Hello,

Is one dvd burner better than the other? Is there a good or better dvd burn than another? Is one format better that than the other (dvd- vs dvd+)? I would like to know the best and most robust bullet proof method for video burning possible. Does anyone have any opinions?

Yes.

I usually check CNET's and PC World's for their hardware reviews. The "best" drive changes frequently.

+ versus -. Depends on the DVD player. - is the older format, so it seems to be more compatible than +. Of course, if you want dual layer, then you have to choose + right now. It's nice that most drives will burn either now, and the media costs are similar.

I've been very happy with Nero for my video DVD burning software.
