file type for best resolution

I haven't purchased Imaginate by Canopus, but anticipate I may do that soon so I can pan and zoom on photographs and other graphics files for inclusion in a video project. I've been saving some web page images for future use in this video commenting on some newspaper headlines. Currently I do a screen capture (alt printscreen) and paste into ms paint, then save as a jpg file. I'm wondering what is really the best file type to save as, to maintain highest quality for zooming in on these images later. Imaginate lists these:

Supported Image Formats
> Bitmap (.bmp)
> JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
> Targa (.tga)
> Photoshop (.psd)
> JPEG Network Graphic (.jng)
> Portable Network Graphics (.png)
> Tagged Image File Format (.tif, .tiff)
> Amiga IFF Format (.iff, lbm)
> Multiple Network Graphic (.mng)
> Kodak PhotoCD (.pcd)
> PCX Bitmap Format (.pcx)

JPEG will probably be okay, but an uncompressed format, like TIFF or BMP, would be better.
