Help with Pinnacle Blue Box &Callisto Capture
on May 11, 2004 at 7:32:06 pm

I have been given a Pinnacle Systems Callisto 2.2 capture card and a Pinnacle Blue Box in order that I can transfer my analogue camcorder tapes to my pc's hard drive.

Can someone help advise me what drivers to use for the Callisto card. I have looked all over to no avail. Plus what video capture software is suitable with these please?

I would appreciate any help :)

Callisto was the project name for the DV500 card. Downlaod the latest drivers from Pinnacle for it. It will run with Adobe Premeire 6.x for editing.

Thanks Gary.

I have downloaded the 243mb driver/ software file for the hardware, and I am capturing with no frames loss in avi form! I have tried several usb capture gadgets over the last few weeks so I am chuffed to bits this works.

With 2mins of video = 400+ mbs, I now need to work out how to get 60mins of video from my camcorder tapes to a dvd with only 4.6gig of space! Off to the other threads on videoguys.com! :)
