Starting a video department at work...
on May 5, 2004 at 5:37:11 pm

The company I work for is looking at starting an arial video department. I have some experience with production and post production, but was wondering which editing system to go with, and what would I need besides a camera, gyro-stabilized mount, and a good computer?

*I'm currently looking at Pinnacle Liquid edition with commotion pro as a special effects add on. What do you know about liquid??? Good/bad???

Thanks for your comments!

Can't help you with the helmet cam.

Liquid edition is a great choice. In fact the demo footage Pinnacle uses for traqde shows has skydivers Cool

I think you'll find Edition up to the most demanding Xtreme sports footage. the speed controls and color correction tools are superb, as are the 3D FX.

As for a machine to put it in, check out this article http://www.videoguys.com/DIY.html
