1.8 vs 2.4

Is there a noticible difference in rendering time and burn time between these two:

1) P4 1.8gz; 512 RAM; HP DVD200i (2.4x)

2) P4 2.4gz; 512 RAM; Plextor 8x DVD Burner

Thanks

Cool I'm not a computer tech, but here is my experience. I used a 1.2ghz system for one year. Recently I had a P4 2.8ghz installed and my rendering times have improved greatly. There are many factors in rendering times. I have been working on semi-pro football games with one hour plus or minus of footage. Since the change in processor, frontside bus etc, some of my rendering times have gone from 8 and 9 hours down to 2 hours. Like I said, there are many factors involved. Hope this helps.
