Quicktime videos

Anyone have any luck compressing video at length. I want to put at least a minute or two of video on the website. My compression rates give some large file that takes for ever.

I have used 320 x 249 with 15 frame rate. still gives me a large file which takes forever for dialup.

Any suggestions would be great.

How do you get video length without taking up bandwidth and forever to upload or download?

What compression software are you using? Are you married to QuickTime or are you willing to explore other multimedia compression options? What do you consider a "large" file (I ask this because I have found very different opinions!)?

You may want to check out the Canopus Procoder software which will give you some of the best options for choosing just about any Codec and compare quality vs. file size. http://www.videoguys.com/procoder.html
