VCR Capturing
on Feb 17, 2003 at 6:23:50 pm

I'm new to the video arena. I have recently purchased a computer system for video editing which has the RTX10. I have many older camcorder tapes (VHS) and I'm wondering what is the best method of capturing. Are there good VCR's with S-video connections or will the standard RCA connections on most VCR's work adequately? Thanks for your advice.

Hi there
I think as long as its a half decent quality VCR the RCA connections should be fine. You probably won't notice much of a difference between the S-video connector and the standard RCA, but the choice is yours.
