My question is two parts and here is a little background. I'm about to invest in new system and want to try video editing. I'm deciding if I should just start with real-time solution or save few bucks and deal with rendering etc. The issue is not cost (I can afford either) but learning curve, features, and level of use.
1. I understand the advantages of editing with real-time thanks to Video Guys web site. The key question to me since this is new hobby will I be able to harness all the advantages without being overwhelmed by features?
2. If I choose Real-Time help me better understand the difference between Matrox RTX.10 and RT2500. I know one is last years model but otherwise I'm not sure which one is better?
