What is a good capture card to use for making VCD
on Oct 10, 2002 at 2:21:17 am

Greetings,
I have a new Dell P4, 2.4ghz, 256meg. I want a capture card that supports didital and analog video sources. I was looking at the Pinnacle Studio 7 card (avaliable for $199.00.) My goal is to copy all our home movies onto a CD in VCD fromat. I don't have a DVD burner and I won't have one for some time. Anyway, will the Studio 7 card be a good choice for me, and will the included software allow me to burn a disk in VCD format?

The Studio7 product for $199 is no longer available. It is now the Studio8 for $299. This will definitely do the job though. I don't think the software in it can do VCD. Check out Ahead's Nero for that.
