How to choose a LCD Monitor for Video Editing?

I am putting together a PC based system for video editing and would prefer to use a LCD
monitor to make it more portable. I was wondering what are considerations in choosing
an LCD monitor for this type of application? The 15" ones seem to be limited to
1024x768 resolution so I am looking at 17" which are quite pricey. Does one have to be
concerned about the response time to ensure clean display of action shots? If so what
is a suitable response time?

Are there any other issues I should be concerned about?

Any experiences, good or bad, would be helpful.

Pelden,

To date I've always read that for the most part CRTs are better than LCDs in terms of graphics. Really, a video monitor is actually best for computer video editing. Sony makes a nice 13" Wega flat screen tv that other people have recommended. Of course using a CRT and video monitor aren't very portable.
