Pinnacle Pro RTDV or RTX1000?

I'm having a problem deciding on a capture card.
Major use will be fast conversion of VHS and PAL tapes to DVD with simple authoring for the end product. Clean up of color and quality will be important. Will also be doing some more complex authoring.

Just ordered new system with the following specs:
- AMD Athlon XP3000 with premium ASUS Ultra 400 Motherboard with Firewire,
- 1 GIG DDR400 RAM,
- nVidea GeForce-4 TI-4800, 128 Meg
- (2) 120 GIG Maxtor 7200 RPM in Raid O config.(+80GIG system drive)
- Pioneer CD-RW AO5 burner
- SB Audigy 5.1 MP3

Bundled software seems about the same. Which card will be best for what I am planning to do?

Thanks, I will look forward to your seasoned advice.

we have had a ton of problems w/ both of these cards and the audigy card. i would recommend replacing your sb audigy with a regular sb card.

the rtx100 is your best bet if you're making dvds since it will capture in realtime mpeg2.
