Any issues with non-SCSI DVD burner on SCSI system

All my hard drives and my CD-RW are SCSI. I'm shopping for a DVD burner and none of them seem to be available in SCSI.

Will there be any problems using an IDE DVD burner with SCSI hard drives? Will there be any problems if the DVD burner is the only IDE device in my system?

Thanks, Jon

you do have potential issues mixing in an eide device with all scsi. Yur bios may look to boot from the eide device first. Most new bios give you the opion of setting hte boot device priority list.

Why not go ith a Firewire burner?
