Having Video Format Issues / can't burn to DVD
on May 18, 2004 at 1:06:36 am

I have video that I have saved out of Adobe Premiere Pro, and can play in Windows Media Player 9 in MPEG2 format.

But....

I can not make a dvd disc with this output.

Sonic MyDVD, Roxio, and Premiere Pro all have the same error...

"Could not complete the last command DVDErr 339973"

I tried to convert the mpeg2 file using Virtual Dub and it will not load the file, says there are no video frames...

But Windows Media Player 9 plays the file just fine!!!!

Someone with more experience please tell me what is going on...

Thank you,

Have you tried having Premiere Pro export the video, having it transcode the video into an MPEG2 IBP (m2v) file with a separate audio WAV file? I've found that I've had better results by transcoding to constant bitrate (CBR) format.
