Hi, Videoguys. Here in the studio (Pro Image Studios, Islandia, LI), we have a Sony Vaio 1.8 Gig configuration for our editing (Avid Express DV) and we are asking whether it might be possible to do DVD authoring in real time with DVDit that comes with the Sony setup? Is there a board/card that could enable that or do we have to go up to Reel DVD for a real time process?
A'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM.AND MORE,I'VE USED INSTANT DVD FROM PINNACLE,AND AFTER BURNNING THE DVD,THE RESULT WAS :
1-GOOD COLOR FILM
2-GOOD MENU AND BACKGROUND,INCLUDING INTERACTIVIT
3-THE FILM MOTION WAS UNINSTABLE (DURING THE FAST SCENES).
HAVE YOU FIXED YOU PROBLEM?
IF YES,PLEASE,LET ME KNOW HOW.
SORRY ABOUT MY ENGLISH.I'M A PORTUGESE SPEAKING GUY.
what do you mean by realtime? The AVID should export your mpeg2 file, then you make your menus in DVDit and burn. Are you looking for something that will make the MPEG2 file faster? Have you tried using the AVID for that?
